What to wear – especially important in winter

Please remember that it can feel considerably colder on the fjord than in the city, particularly during autumn and winter.

We strongly recommend:

Warm layers
Windproof and waterproof outer clothing
Warm hat and gloves
Warm socks
Suitable, sturdy footwear

It is always better to bring one layer too many than to get cold while we are out on the fjord.

Weather & possible cancellation

Fishing on the Trondheim Fjord is a weather-dependent activity. Your safety always comes first.

Weather and sea conditions can change quickly, particularly during the winter season. If conditions do not allow us to operate the tour safely, the trip may have to be cancelled at short notice – sometimes even on the day of departure.

If we need to cancel because of weather conditions, rebooking to another available departure is possible.

Please keep an eye on your email and phone before departure in case we need to contact you regarding weather or changes to the tour.
