Karl Braset (1880–1945) was a prominent Norwegian folklorist, poet, and dialectologist from Sparbu—in what is now the municipality of Steinkjer. He is particularly known for his work documenting and preserving local culture and language in Trøndelag. At the seminar, we will draw on clear sources from the past and discuss both the present and the future.
