Each summer, newborn reindeer calves receive their family earmarks — a tradition deeply connected to Sámi culture, reindeer ownership and family lineage. As a guest, you stay at the summer camp, follow the rhythm of the herd and observe this important seasonal work up close.
Because warm summer days can be demanding for the reindeer, the main activity takes place late in the evening and through the night, under the midnight sun. Between the active hours, life at camp is calm and simple: shared meals, quiet conversation, time in nature and small daily tasks around the camp.
