Did you know that Europe’s longest dog sledding race takes place in Finnmark, Norway? Let our dogs reveal the magic of this region to you! Immerse yourself in the deep bond between humans and animals as you explore the pristine wilderness and the magical winter lights this far north. You’ll learn the art of dog sledding and how to handle sled dogs. You will sleep in a gamme tent, heated and on a field bed, in the arctic wilderness, or by the dogs in the dog yard. We provide all the necessary training to ensure you’re fully prepared for this unforgettable adventure.
Day 1: Arrive at Lakselv Airport and transfer to our family-run kennel, where we will welcome you into our family with our dogs. The first evening, we will go for a short sled ride in the area nearby to get a taste of dog sledding. Overnight in a nearby facility. Day 2-4: The following day, we'll meet at the kennel to feed the dogs and prepare. You’ll sled through forest, over mountains, on frozen lakes, and maybe down to the fjord. Meals outdoors, cooked traditionally. Return to kennel for a final dinner. Overnight nearby. Day 5: After breakfast, transfer back to Lakselv Airport. This adventure is designed for dog enthusiasts, nature lovers, and curious explorers. Bring a friend for a more memorable journey!

What do I need to bring?
Thermal underwear, a fleece or wool sweater and pants, thin wool socks, personal clothing, a neck warmer, a hat, sunglasses, toiletries, a camera or phone, and thin working gloves or wool gloves.

- All meals starting with dinner on Day 1 and ending with breakfast on Day 6.
