As we continue further up the river, you will discover the colorful historic wharves stretching along the riverbanks, standing on wooden pillars above the water as they have for centuries. You will also sail beneath the famous Old Town Bridge with its red “portals of happiness,” connecting the old city with the charming neighborhood of Bakklandet.
